Three trips, each planned around the tide on the day. Distances are typical; your guide may shorten the route or change it if the wind shifts.

Harbour & Seal Rocks
Our first-timer trip. We practise strokes in the shelter of the harbour, then cross a short stretch of the sound to the rocks where grey seals often haul out.

What you might see
Grey seals, oystercatchers and, on calm days, the kelp forest under the boat. Wildlife is never guaranteed.
The Outer Skerries crossing
A full day for paddlers who are comfortable in a sea kayak. We cross open water to the outer skerries, land on a shell beach for lunch and come back with the flood tide.

What you might see
Puffins on the outer rocks from May to July, porpoises in the sound, and the lighthouse up close.
Evening light
A short, easy paddle along the coast on summer evenings. We turn for home as the sun drops and Skerry Light starts to flash.
